SURVIVAL SKILLS FOR KIDS

Thursday, May 21st 9am-2:30pm

 

This is a fun one-day event for kids ages 6 and up.  Skills taught will vary depending on the age and ability of the child.  

 

$10 per child 6 years and older (includes lunch)

$5 for parent/younger children for lunch

$25 per family

 

9-9:30 - Registration & Groups  (Kids will be divided into 3 groups by age range)

9:30-10 - Welcome & Survival Backpack Presentation

10:00-11:00 - First Activity (rotating)

11:00-12:00 - Second Activity (rotating)

12:00-12:45 - Break for Lunch (Hot Dogs/Sandwiches, Chips, Fruit, Lemonade, Water)

12:45-1:45 - Third Activity (rotating)

1:45-2:30 - Ice Cream Social and Games

 

The activities will be lead by campground owner, Mark Gordon, local firemen and game warden(s).  Skills practiced will vary depending on age.  A release will need to be signed at registration.

 

PRINT or EMAIL registration form and mail payment or call in credit card payment.

 

PLEASE READ

Parents may drop off their child(ren) and pick them up no later than 2:30.  Please be respectful to the pick-up time because we do not have staff to watch children once the program ends.  If parents would like to stay with younger children at the campground for the day, we will have a site for younger kids (5 and under to play).  If you plan on staying for lunch, the cost is $5 per person.
