Statement of Faith

More To Life Campground is a Christian family campground based on the fundamentals of God's Word. This campground was founded and started to provide people with a balance of God's creation and wholesome instruction in His word. The campground is run and staffed with born again believers. Based on these goals we take a strong stand on the Word of God, our handbook and instruction manual for life. The purpose of this statement of faith is to provide the public a clear view of these beliefs.

The Holy Scriptures
We believe that the Bible is a love letter from God written to mankind. This letter, divinely inspired and written by men, is our standard for life. This standard is the measuring stick by which we run our lives, our ministry, and this campground. It is the manual by which every problem we face is solved. The Authorized King James Version is the version used by More To Life Campground.
(II Tim.3:16, 17; II Peter 1:20, 21)

The Godhead
We believe in the one true living God who exists in three separate persons but one being. This co-eternal being consists of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They are co-equal in power, glory, and perfection.
(Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; II Cor. 13:14; John 14:10, 26)

The Person & Works of Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He came to earth to save us from sin. Born of the virgin Mary, He was fully God and fully man at the same time. Christ gave us the redemption from sin by shedding His blood on the cross. This act in itself was not enough to ensure our eternity in heaven. Only Christs resurrection from the grave gave us the victory over death.
(Isa. 7:14; Luke 1:35; John 1:1-2, 14; Acts 2:18-36; I Peter 2:24)

The Person & Works of the Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is the divine teacher that assists us in the understanding and application of the Holy Scriptures in our lives. The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and the judgment of God.
(John 16:8-11; Roman 8:9; Eph.1:13-14, 17-18; 5:18; I John 2:20, 27)

Salvation

We believe that salvation is a free gift from God brought to man by the grace and power of Jesus Christ. Jesus bought this precious gift with His precious blood on Calvary and offered it to mankind with His eternal love. We believe in the eternality of salvation. Once a person is truly saved, nobody can reverse this decision.
(John 1:12; Eph. 1:7; 2:8-10; I Peter 1:18, 19)

The return of Christ

We believe in the imminent return of Christ in which He will rapture His church to be with Him for eternity.
( Ps. 89:3, 4; Dan. 2:31-45; Zech. 14:4-11; I Thes. 1:10; 4:13-18)
